Q: What happens if I get in an auto accident if I have my insurance policy from another state?
I did live in Oklahoma and now I live in Arkansas. I just noticed that I haven't changed my policy to reflect my Arkansas address. My insurance policy is cheaper in Oklahoma. If I "forget" to change it, what will happen if I get in an accident?

A: I disagree. Arkansas law applies. You need to report address change and get a new agent in your new location. If you have moved within the last 30 days you are OK, if longer you are not. You are making a big no-no with the insurer. According to your policy, you are required to be truthful. Not reporting the new address is fraudulent because you are trying to pay less. They will charge the difference starting when you moved. Do so ASAP so the company will have a smiley face not a frowney face. Tell the agent you simply forgot. If you have already had an accident, you are in a lot of trouble which the company may or may not forgive.

Q: auto insurance plz help!?
i have a 2005 ford mustang and im 17yrs old. i have had a couple of speeding tickets and etc. is there any place in arkansas were i can find cheap insurance thanks.

A: Good luck with that! I have not clue. Different isurance companies quote different and some quote from the same underwriter. You will just have to call around. They could give someone one quote and the other a different one, but I can tell you how to keep your tickets off of your record. When you get a ticket find out the amount of it by calling the county clerk or look on the back of the ticket. Add $20.00 to the amount and send in a check. They will put that the ticket has been paid and then send you a check back for the overdue amount. When you get it rip it up and throw it away. They can not send your points to your state capital to go on your record it all transactions have not been completed. I have done this 5 times and don't have a thing on my record! :)

Q: does farm burea in Arkansas cover vehicles with lights and siren for a volunteer fire department?
Volunteer Fire department in Arkansas. Lights and siren on it. Fire department is just volunteer not paid or full time. Will Farm burea auto insurance cover the vehicle?

A: Not on a personal auto policy!! The volunteer fire department should have coverage, on their policy, which extends to the personally owned vehicles of the volunteer firemen (or commendeered vehicles) when they bring them out on a call. Then you need the personal auto coverage (be sure to ask for the customizing equipment endorsement!!) for when you have/use the car NOT on a fire call.
